They were determined though, that all of them would go outside of this haunted place. They stood up and tried to go on but they heard a strange talking sound. "What is that noise??" whispered Minji fearfully. Why, they were a group of people, running. Those people were Ki Hwan, Paul, Leo, and Tonny! Serim fainted and fell to the ground. The other girls stared at them in shock. They panted and panted and Paul finally said, "You didn't think we'll leave you to die here, do you? Even though you are our enemies. We combined our dead selves together and came alive." "It's a very complicated process." Leo added. The girls shouted in joy including Serim who woke up. They all smiled and laughed but Ki Hwan shouted, "Wait! Boys, remember who we brought?" The boys laughed. "That's the best part of all!" shouted Tonny. "What is it? Come on, tell us!" the girls exclaimed in excitment. If the boys were this excited, it was bound to be something good. The boys stepped apart to reveal Steve Lee, Christina and David, bringing loads of food and drinks. "FOOD!!" Chloe yelped. She began to stuff herself. Everyone laughed. They were all happy and had a feast. Serim was talking with Christina. "So, why did you come? Who told you?" Acually, I don't live far from here and I was really worried when I heard a scream." Christina told Serim. "That was Tonny." Serim said grimly. "Yeah, did you hear my scream? Wasn't it fantastic?" said Tonny, listening to the conversation now. Christina laughed with Tonny. Seeing Serim's still stony face, she said, "The boys told me about your belief in trying to save everyone. It is not your fault, Serim." "Well, everyone told me that, yet I find it hard to believe! Boys, dying one by one, not knowing when the girls will die..." She had tears in her eyes. "And only one of us will live. Now we our goal, Serim, I said OUR goal, is to make sure EVERYONE lives. Nobody's fault." Minji said, looking at Serim's tears. Then, they heard another round of footsteps. It was Steven! They weren't even scared; they were having too much fun. Then they heard more footsteps. They thought it was going to be more friends but it was not. They were arrows thrown at them. The slashing sound of the poison arrows were magically changed to sound like the footsteps of a friend. It hit Chloe right on her full stomach. She was dead while laughing and eating with her friends. "No..." Ki Hwan breathed. "NO!!!" screamed Serim. Ki Hwan walked toward Chloe. He said, "I'll never forget you, obese Chloe.." "Don't leave us forever. Come back like the boys did." said Serim, desperately. "Suddenly, the image of Chloe was in midair. "Don't worry, guys. I'll be okay here! I'll be obese as usual!" she smiled at all of us, looking at Ki Hwan the longest. "Don't think of joining me, Kiwi." Chloe murmured. "The rest needs your fruity taste." She laughed once and disappeared, forever. "NO!!" Ki Hwan cried out. "No, Ki Hwan! Remember Chloe's words! We need your fruity taste!" cried Christina frantically. "She needs it more than you." growled Ki Hwan. "No...No...No...I'll save it for later..."Chloe's voice said. "Fine, I'll stay here then." Come back...Come like the boys did..."Serim kept repeating, again and again. "It's okay, Serim. You know she can't come back. Just leave it."Ki Hwan said stonily. "How can you say that?"Minji said. "Don't you care for her?" Ki Hwan stayed stony. "No. I can use another obese person when we get out of this stupid place." Everyone looked at each other, wondering what happened to Ki Hwan. "Actually, it is a good thing she died, no extra weight to carry, huh?"cackled Ki Hwan. "What happened to you?" asked Steven. Clearly he had no idea what was going on in the cottage. "This is the haunted cottage. You must know that!"Christina said. "Really?"said Steven. "The ones who doesn't know the horror of this cottage must now die...Steven Chung..."said an unknown voice. Everyone looked around. They all knew Steven was going to die and they all surrounded him to protect him from any spears or arrows or that sorts. Steven had no idea what was happening. "Well, I'll stay in your little fort you made with your body and wow! This is so scary!"Steven said sarcastically. Only Ki Hwan stayed where he was. Then, Steven got sucked into the ground. The unknown voice said, "Hahaha, I have many different weapons, my dear victims." Minji suddenly gasped. "Ki Hwan..The voice...What?..Chloe..."she stammered. Everyone looked at Ki Hwan. They all gasped. Ki Hwan was saying the words, staring at the group hungrily. "I got sucked into this cottage's master, The Mask. I'm happy here. I got EVIL!! Hahaha~!" Ki Hwan said. Paul flinched. Then, his look hardened. "Chloe sent me a message. It is time for Ki Hwan to join her with a free mind. I'll have to kill you, Ki Hwan."Paul said. Ki Hwan laughed. "So? I'll be glad to sacrifice myself to The Mask." Paul's look hardened more. "You are not the old Ki Hwan. Sorry, I shall have to kill you, my best friend." "I'm not your best friend anymore! What should I do?" Ki Hwan sniggered. Paul got the arrow from Chloe and stabbed Ki Hwan's heart. Ki Hwan gasped to breathe, yet still he was laughing. "Haha.. I... Would be glad.... To serve The... Mask..." More blood pour out of his heart every time he spoke. "Ki Hwan! Join me as a free person, not posessed by The Mask. Come with me!"called Chloe. Ki Hwan's eyes softened. "Yes... I am... Free... Now... Bye... Everybody..." Ki Hwan was dead. Paul sobbed. Serim just stared at him with disbelieving eyes. Allison, Christina and Minji sat down next to Ki Hwan to grieve for him. Leo and Tonny just sat down on the ground. When Serim joined Ki Hwan's grieving group, they all heard a voice, "I am free and happy now with Chloe here. Don't grieve for me and go on! You can do it, guys!" It was Ki Hwan. "Yes, go on." Chloe added to what Ki Hwan said. They moved on to the next room. It was the bathroom. "This is really freaky, guys." Steve said. The others shared a glance and went on. They decided it was not the path out and tried to go out but the door banged shut and the door locked. They all stared at each other and froze.
